Liz Carlson is a New York Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Chinese Herbalist. After graduating from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Liz pursued her Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest college of Oriental Medicine in the United States. Her training included integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine at conventional medical facilities such as Boston Medical Center and Dimmock Community Health Center in Roxbury, Massachusetts.

Liz’s post-graduate studies include the renowned Acupuncture and Herbal Mentorship Program at White Pine Healing Arts in Amherst, MA. Some of her most treasured moments thus far have been her involvement in the PanAfrican Acupuncture Project, training Ugandan healthcare workers to use simple acupuncture protocols to create more accessible and more affordable healthcare.

In addition to focusing on fertility and Women’s Health, Liz is a Childbirth Doula and enjoys assisting in the pre and post partum care.  Liz embodies a true passion for the art and science of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Inside her treatment room you will feel cared for and supported yet inspired and empowered to achieve your health goals…new baby, new body, new mind set…whatever they may be.
